Directors

Brenda Fulton

Brenda has worked in the voluntary and community sector for over twenty years, initially as a Development Worker within a TUC Unemployed Centre, responsible for industrial welfare rights advice and industrial tribunal representation. Then within the co-operative sector responsible for the creation development and growth of worker co-operatives and community businesses.

Brenda is a founding Director of
Regional Enterprise Developers (RED) Ltd. RED is a Social Enterprise dedicated to support groups and individuals in gaining skills and experience that will allow them to become more involved in the regeneration of their communities.

Academic qualifications: BSc (hons) Sociology, MA Urban Policy and Development

Vocational qualifications: Advanced Business Counselling Certificate

Business Start Up Counselling: 14 years experience of assisting groups in business start up, including support in writing business plans, collective management, marketing, legal structures, financial planning, employment policies, company registrations, roles and responsibilities of Directors and operational procedures.

Business Growth Counselling: 12 years experience of assisting trading and fledgling businesses to test new markets, assess customer satisfaction, identify new customers, reduce expenditure, and develop strategic plans.

Capacity Building: 12 years experience of capacity building, working with community groups and individuals to explore gaps in local services and test viability of project and business ideas, production of feasibility studies, delivery of ideas generation workshops, and confidence building sessions.

Project Management: Experience of managing European, SRB, Learning and Skills Council funded projects, including monitoring, evaluation, quarterly returns, setting and achieving key milestones and providing support in project development.


Anne Bonner

Anne started her career in the voluntary and community sector working with single parents. She was an active member of the peace and reconciliation movement in Northern Ireland.

Anne went on to work within the co-operative movement with an interest in training and development. She was responsible for the design and delivery of a co-operative business start up programme.

Along with Brenda, Anne is a founding Director of Regional Enterprise Developers Ltd.

Academic Qualifications: Certificate in Co-operative Studies, University of Ulster, Belfast, Certificate in Education (Yr 1), New College, Durham

Training: 14 years experience of design and delivery of business training and development programmes, including enterprise awareness and ideas generation workshops.
